#having fun with just drawing with no intention

More human voices? More human voices. I'm having lots of fun figuring out what my lads would look like as people! And coming up with all their outfits (I finally remembered how much I like coming up with clothes)! Though if you put them next to each other, none of them would look even remotely similar (or even from the same time period)... but that's okay, I've accepted that as the natural consequence of my actions/decisions! I'm making these for fun, after all :]

Here's who everyone is, plus random notes!

Skeptic & Opportunist! I swear it was not intentional, I just wanted to draw someone next to Oppy for height comparison, and Smitten was being difficult then. So, sure, unintentional Skeptunist it is. But I guess it worked out because their outfits are somewhat similar, so they look good together :]

Cold! He wears his coat pretty much all the time, but I wanted to also draw him without it, just to show his body type. Bonus little sketch for the "But bad is so much more interesting than numb" quote, I kind of adore how smug he looks in that one!!

And also 4, and also 5, all Smitten! Human!Smitten, just like his regular bird counterpart, was a difficult guy to design, he had to go through several iterations to get him to look even remotely okay-ish. But once I did get his design down, I liked it so much that I wanted to draw it again. If I had a nickel for every time Smitten was a pain to design, and yet somehow his design ended up being one of my favorites, I'd have two nickels.

Oh, and I did try drawing him with facial hair, just to see what he would look like, and it actually suits him surprisingly well-

Also, we love gender nonconformity on this blog. In fact, every time I look at my human!Smitten, I experience mild gender envy. Can I look like this guy- /lh /hj

So yeah, more random design misadventures from me! Just gotta design Stubborn, Broken, and Hunted, and then also make a new outfit for Cheated (I completely forgot that I had a specific fashion planned for him when I made the first sketch, oops!) These are very fun to make :]

Here are some reference drawings I usually use.

Fun facts about Nemo Arkham:

• Skilled in mechanics: Surprisingly, he does quite well fixing and understanding the workings of many vehicles or even gadgets.

• Firearms proficiency: Despite always carrying two pistols, he’s not very skilled with them. He prefers to play with the element of surprise in close combat. He still has a lot to learn about firearms but is quite adept with melee weapons (though explosives require less effort for him).

• Fashionable: He likes to dress well, usually in elegant suits, even in complex situations. It has become a symbol of his identity.

• Smokes anywhere: Even in tricky situations, he smokes. Let’s just say it helps him think.

• Great actor: He always likes to keep everything under control. When things slip out of his grasp, he becomes overwhelmed and desperately tries to regain control. He never does anything without a double intention, making it hard to trust him. He always seems to be playing with those around him. Nemo has excellent manipulation skills.

• Multilingual: He speaks several languages—Russian, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, and English. He is most fluent in Spanish and English. His origins are European, though the specific region is unknown.

• Empathy for children: This is the one area where he shows genuine empathy, likely because it reminds him of his childhood.

• Feminist: Despite his identity as a villain, he always defends women, viewing them not as sexual objects but as people.

• Spending habits: He doesn’t care much about spending money and is often surrounded by luxury, but only when he’s with others. In the quiet of his home, he’s content with a good bottle of whiskey and regular cigarettes.

• Solitary: He dislikes having close relationships, believing they could become a weakness others might exploit.

• Body modifications: He has a navel piercing.

• Transgender: He transitioned at a young age, and since his body hadn’t developed much yet, transitioning to male was easier for him.

• Heir turned soldier: Nemo is an heir but was raised more like a soldier or a weapon, always under his father’s yoke.

• Self-grooming: He cuts his own hair, which is why it always looks rather messy.

• Drug addiction: He’s addicted to a new drug called ASH BONE. He usually consumes it alone since (depending on the dose) it puts him in a state of chemical submission. A small dose only relaxes him.

• Goal (spoiler): Nemo’s objective is to destroy Batman and Gotham, no matter the limits he has to cross.

• Slade Wilson’s role: Slade trained him in hand-to-hand combat for a period of his life. Nemo never liked Slade. (Spoiler) When Nemo escaped his father’s grasp, he was kidnapped and tortured to break his will. Slade oversaw the torture, administering the experimental drug ASH BONE for the first time, making Nemo addicted.

• Shade the cat: As a child, Nemo adopted a black cat named Shade.

• Connection with Damian: The only member of the Batfamily he gets along with is Damian. He understands his anger and pain, so they connect perfectly, even though they maintain a lot of emotional distance. Nemo gave Damian those little star-shaped clips.

• Nicknames for Batman: Nemo ironically calls Batman “the emo who listens Deftones.” (He has many nicknames for the Batfamily: “the bats,” “winged rats,” “the emo squad,” “the darkness,” “the dark divas,” etc.)

(I could go on all day writing more random facts about Nemo, but I don’t think many people would care, haha!)

1998 OR 1999 JIMMY ASK EXTENDED

When I can't sleep I just be typing anything

SO THAT ONE ANON WHO ASKED which Jimmy do I choose, if 1998 or 1999, I give all the points on why it's hard to choose

1998 Jimmy

1998 Jimmy comes from the beginning of MSI, despite starting in 1997, it's only in 1998 when we can see "decent" footage of the shows. The outfit coming from the veery early years adds an emotional layer to it

The aesthetic of 1998 Jimmy is also kind of my aesthetic too, in fact, his style, I feel like I can't describe it well, but it's like an "alt/darker" style of the 1999 one? (duh, it's black). What I mean is, What core is this? Jesus Christ tie, split dye hair, black suit, watches in his wrist, along with the old recordings that made everything darker and crunchy, nobody knows about them and they're just in a tiny room with punk posters? It's like a memory from long time ago.

Before 1997-8 era, there was 1995, with the self-titled album. 1998 is the first time I see the cross tie being incorporated, which I think it's one of the most iconic parts of Jimmy's outfit, which he kept wearing from then on. I think the cross tie connects MSI's debut work with their then kept secret PINK works and the self-titled album.

When I first knew about MSI, I found 1998 Jimmy particularly handsome, back then I didnt like much the 2008 Jimmy because I found him ugly (lie, i DID like him i was just embarrased to tell people cuz I used to only like anime guy ahh faces and he's more like handsome in an ugly way..heh..), then I found 1998 Jimmy, and then 1999 Jimmy and OUGGGGGG🤤

When I draw Jimmy, this era is the one I draw by default, currently it's a tie between the 1999 one.

He has black in his outfit and I love black.

1999 Jimmy

I think this outfit, along with the 2008 one is the MOST ICONIC outfit of Jimmy. If you draw Jimmy in any of those two, it's instantly recognizable to people in and outside the fandom

His pink outfit gives a statement that goes with the band's intentions: He wanted people to get mad to a guy running around in a pink suit. He told this in an interview

An entirely pink suit along with fairy wings is a very original concept for a punk's look if you ask me. Usually we have the perception of punks as people with mohawks, jackets, black t-shirts and spikes, but instead we got twink man with a pink suit singing crazy with fairy wings 😭😭😭🙏 gives a twist ngl, and I like that A LOT

This might seem crazy but I think all the info you need to know about him is right there if you just look at his 1999 outfit: bright pink suit, skirt, cross tie, dyed funky pink hair, stupid fairy wings and Adidas shoes. If you analyze each one of these elements and make an assumption on who he is or how he acts (without knowing him), you'd probably get it right.

He's very fun to draw! Right now I've simplified his shape and now I draw him faster and easier, he's also fun to paint because he uses bright pink.

This was the outfit he used the most in FGWSSS and Tight era I think (mostly FGWSSS), which are considered the classics of MSI, which makes this outfit more iconic imo.

He's so stupid looking in this one but handsome as well

I'm back with more for that one post by @dailytogachako (Himiko Toga lived, went undercover, dyes and cut her hair and doesn't use her Quirk for murder and continues to admire Ochako/uravity from afar because love)

404 no frame found, but suddenly the train stops and people move, and Himiko gets off the train amongst the crowd, just seconds after Ochako notices her

Ochako chases mystery girl off the train, but it's crowded and she quickly loses her in a sea of people. (Could she solve this by using her Quirk to float above? Yes, but one, would draw too much attention, and if its really Himiko then she wouldn't want that, and 2...

She stops, because what is she even doing? There's no way it could be HER. ....right? )

Ochako is wearing her hair in a Himiko inspired bun!

Ochako has a small heart tattooed on her wrist....it's for Himiko, to always remind her of her, and what Ochako fights for in her work.

Cute little gloves prevent Ochako from accidentally using Quirk while she is out and about.

As I said before, Himiko dyed her hair black, cut it, straightens it as needed(though there's still always a stubborn little Stick-up piece!) Braids to frame her face differently than her usual look, pierced her ears because why not? Darker eye contacts to hide eye color. Face mask to hide the cutest smile in the world!
